Corporate Law Sets The Rules Your Business Operates Under
Corporate law isn't something you “get done” and move past. It defines how decisions are made, who has authority, and what evidence exists when those decisions are questioned.
Incorporation puts that structure in place. Corporate compliance keeps it aligned as the business changes. When those pieces drift apart, issues don't usually show up right away. They surface later, when timing matters and options are narrower.
The goal is simple: understand what applies to your business now, what can wait, and what needs attention before it becomes a problem.
Start With The Right Question
What Incorporation Actually Means
A plain-language explanation of what incorporation changes legally, how it affects control, liability, and decision-making, and why it is more than a registration step.

Identify What You Need
Whether you're incorporating or dealing with corporate compliance, the first step is identifying what applies to your business right now.
Complete The Questionnaire
You provide the key information we need through a guided questionnaire. If you're incorporating, you'll complete our Incorporation Intake Questionnaire. If you already have a corporation, you'll use the Corporate Compliance Intake Questionnaire. You don't need perfect answers. We'll flag anything that needs clarification.
Review, Consult, And Confirm
We review what you submitted and confirm what you need. If you've selected a service level that includes a consult, we'll arrange that discussion as part of finalizing the Legal Services Agreement and retainer, so expectations are clear before work begins.
We Do The Legal Work
Once the Legal Services Agreement is signed and the retainer is received, we take care of the incorporation or bring your corporate records up to date, and let you know what needs attention going forward.

The next step is completing the intake questionnaire so we can properly review your situation and prepare the Legal Services Agreement. It's a substantive step, and it's how we make sure we're working from accurate information from the outset.
Common Questions
No: incorporation can be done without a Lawyer. The issue is not whether it can be done, but whether it's done correctly for your situation. Legal advice becomes important when ownership, liability, tax planning, or future changes matter, or when you want confidence that the structure will hold up later.
This is common. When records fall behind, they don't usually cause problems day-to-day, but they surface at the worst times: during financing, a sale, a dispute, or an audit. Bringing records up to date early gives you more options and far less stress later.
At a minimum, corporations must complete annual filings and maintain up-to-date records reflecting what has actually happened in the business. Additional updates are required whenever there are changes to directors, shareholders, or structure.
Yes. We regularly step in where compliance has been handled internally or by another service. We start by having you complete the intake questionnaire, then we request your existing corporate records from whoever currently has them and bring everything current based on your up-to-date information. If you want us to go further and identify and fix historical issues or discrepancies in the records, we can, but that's an additional service with additional fees.
