About Evan Clarke, CD

Evan grew up in Nanaimo, British Columbia, and came to law the long way. He worked in his father's financial planning practice, then built and ran his own tile installation business for three years. He knows what it means to run a small company, carry the risk personally, and make payroll, because he has done it.
He holds a degree in Spanish and Hispanic Studies, and Linguistics, from UBC and earned his law degree at the University of Alberta. He began his career at a rural firm in northern Alberta, where he built a broad general practice, and in 2020 joined Kahane Law Office to establish its Edmonton location. Today he practises estate planning, estate administration, corporate law, real estate, and family law.
Alongside his practice, Evan has served in the Canadian Armed Forces Primary Reserve since 2009 and holds the rank of Warrant Officer with 41 Signal Regiment in Edmonton. He is Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Legal Education Society of Alberta and serves on the board of the Alberta Legal Coaches and Limited Services Society.
