In Edmonton

Make a plan your family can rely on — without stress, confusion, or complicated paperwork.

what your lawyer needs to know

to prepare your plan

To prepare your estate planning documents properly, your Lawyer will need a few key details from you:

  • Names of the people you want to appoint for decision‑making roles
  • Who should receive your assets and in what proportions
  • Any special instructions or considerations for children, caretakers, or beneficiaries

Our Simple Estate Planning Process

Step 1: Fill Out the Estate Planning Questionnaire

This online form gives your Lawyer the key details they need to begin preparing your plan. It’s straightforward, and can be completed from any device.

Step 2: Legal Services Agreement (LSA)

Once your questionnaire is submitted, we send you a simple agreement outlining the scope of work and flat‑fee pricing so you always know exactly what to expect.

Step 3: Lawyer Review & Consult (Premium Plan)

Your Lawyer reviews your responses, clarifies any outstanding questions, and ensures your wishes are documented clearly and legally. If you purchased the Premium Plan, you meet with your Lawyer for a consult.

Step 4: Prepare & Send Draft Documents

We draft your Will, Enduring Power of Attorney, and Personal Directive based on your instructions. You receive the drafts to review at your own pace.

Step 5: Schedule Your Signing Meeting

When you're ready, we book a signing appointment at our office—or remotely if required—to finalize your Estate Planning documents.

Step 6: Finalize & Provide Executed Copies

You receive your fully executed and legally valid Estate Planning documents along with clear instructions for safe storage and future updates.

Remote Signings and Hospital or Home Visits

If mobility is a concern, or if someone you care for is receiving treatment in a hospital or long-term care facility, we can come to them. Remote signings and bedside appointments ensure your documents are completed properly — without adding stress to your day.

What's Included in Your Estate Plan
